Dark Mode Toggle Settings
The Dusky Dark Mode Plugin offers awesome features for toggling Dark Mode on a WordPress website, including separate toggles for the frontend and the dashboard. In the plugin, it’s called the Toggle Button.
1. Frontend Dark Mode
The Frontend option allows you to set up a toggle for frontend users. From the dashboard, the admin can select two types of toggles for site visitors:
- Floating Toggle: The floating toggle will be shown in an absolute position with the selected toggle style. After selecting the preferred toggle, you will get more options to customize:
- Flexible Floating Toggle: Integrates draggable toggle functionality into the frontend, allowing users to customize the toggle’s position according to their preferences.
- Floating Toggle Position: Offers flexible positions including left, middle, right, or custom.
- Menu Toggle: This toggle will appear as the last item of the selected menu. The admin can select the menu where they want to show the Dark Mode toggler for users. By default, the toggle will be shown as the last item of the menu, but the admin can move it to the left/first position.
Moreover, the admin can control the toggler size by choosing from small, medium, large, or custom options.
2. Dashboard Dark Mode
The Dashboard toggle option is available only for dashboard users based on their user roles. There are two options for showing the toggler:
- Floating Toggle: The floating toggle will be shown in an absolute position with the selected toggle style.
- Admin Bar: The toggle will be shown on the title bar of the admin panel.
