How to Connect BunnyCDN Storage
BunnyCDN Storage lets you host your video files on Bunny’s global network instead of your own WordPress server. It takes the storage and bandwidth load off your hosting, so your site stays fast and your viewers get smooth playback.
In this guide you will learn how to:
- Create a storage zone and pull zone in Bunny
- Collect the five credentials you need
- Connect BunnyCDN Storage in WP Media Player
- Pick a file from Bunny and embed it with a shortcode
When to Use BunnyCDN Storage
Choose BunnyCDN Storage when:
- You already have pre-encoded video files, such as MP4 files in the quality you want.
- You want simple, affordable file hosting with CDN delivery.
- You do not need automatic encoding into multiple quality levels.
For most people, Bunny Stream is the better choice because it encodes your videos automatically. Use Storage when you want to host specific files exactly as they are.
Step 1: Get Your Credentials from Bunny
You need five values from your Bunny account. Copy each one as you go and keep them handy for Step 2.
Create a storage zone
- Log in to your Bunny account and open Storage from the left sidebar.
- Click Add Storage Zone.
- Enter a name, choose a Storage Tier, and select the Main Storage Region closest to your audience.
- Click Add Storage Zone to finish.
Note: Remember the region you chose. It determines your storage hostname.
Connect a pull zone
- Open the storage zone you just created.
- Select Connected Pull Zones from the left sidebar and click + Connected Pull Zone.
- Enter a name for the pull zone, set Origin Type to Storage Zone, and select your storage zone from the dropdown.
- Choose a Tier that fits your needs, then click Add Pull Zone.
- Enable Linked hostnames, then copy the Pull Zone Hostname. This is your CDN URL.
Copy the token authentication key
- In your pull zone, open Security > Token authentication.
- Copy the URL token authentication key.
Copy your storage zone name and API key
- Open your storage zone and go to FTP & API Access in the left sidebar.
- Copy the Username and the Password.
Note: the Username is your storage zone name, and the Password is your API key. The storage hostname shown on this screen depends on the region you selected.

- In the source picker, select BunnyCDN Storage. It appears as a card alongside Media Library, YouTube, and Vimeo.
