Role-Based Permissions
When choosing the Logged option, you can refine access further by selecting specific roles. This ensures only users with designated responsibilities or privileges can access the content. Examples include:
- Administrators: Have full access to all files and configurations.
- Editors: Ideal for content managers needing access to shared resources.
- Subscribers: Suitable for regular users who require limited access to files, such as downloadable content or member-only resources.
- Custom Roles: If you use plugins like WooCommerce or SureCart, roles like “Shop Manager” or “Customer” can also be selected to tailor the experience.
User-Specific Permissions
If granular control is required, you can assign access to individual users:
- A search-enabled dropdown lets you find specific team members, collaborators, or customers.
- This feature is particularly useful for granting access to exclusive files for VIP clients, project members, or certain stakeholders.
Step 5: Save the Shortcode
- After completing the configurations, click the Save Change button.
- The system will generate a shortcode in the format

- Paste it into any page, post, or widget area where you want the Dropbox integration to appear.
